Delphinus Riviera Maya opened its doors on December 15, 2005.
Counting with an excellent infrastructure, Delphinus Riviera Maya displays a unique modernist mayan style. Located on kilometer 282 of the tourist corridor of the Mayan Riviera, alongside the Hotel Grand Flamenco Xcaret, lies this beautiful delphinarium, surrounded by an extraordinary natural scenery that covers an area of 10,000 m2 (108,000 ft2).
Delphinus Riviera Maya is host of a team of enthusiastic veterinarians, biologists and trainers, always willing to offer their best in order to take care of our dolphins.
Just like in Delphinus Xcaret, Delphinus Riviera Maya mantains ideal areas and volumes of water for each dolphin to enjoy, inside a delimited natural scenery and environment, ten times bigger than what has been established by the Mexican Official Norms, in order to offer comfort and well-being to all of our dolphins, but specially to the mothers and their offspring. Within this area we have four swimmig plataforms placed in a surface of 1300 m2 (13,993 ft2). We aslo hold a private and exclusive sector specially designed as a maternity area, with a 250 m2 (2,690 ft2) surface.
