Clinical Diagnosis.

In accordance to our commitment to maintain our animals' wellbeing and health, we operate a laboratory of clinical analysis for dolphins, were we carry on different tests that support our veterinary tasks, achieving an integral diagnosis.

In our laboratories we perform the following clinical analysis for our dolphins: 

• Clinical Hematology
• Biochemical Profile

We are planning in the near future, the application of serological tests in order to detect the presence of Morbillvirus infections.

• Cytology
• Coproparasitology

We also rely on the collaboration of prestigious laboratories, to carry on the following tests: 

• Bacteriology
• Serology
• Histopathology
• Bromatology
• Toxicology

Our laboratory has its own biochemical analyzer Vitros DT60 II Chemistry System, of Ortho-Clinical Diagnosis from Johnson & Johnson, which has the capacity to carry out up to 120 different analyses, including enzymes, hormones, substrates and immunological testing.

 

In order to obtain integral diagnosis, we use our own ultrasound equipment that is essential to detect gestation and monitor fetal growth, as well as testicular meassuring, among other things. We also have our own endoscopic equipment that enables us to execute gastroscopies and bronchoscopies
